ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
TO THE SUPERINTENDENT/DISTRICT CLERK
Effective July 1, 2026
Richfield Springs CSD is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to serve as Secretary to the Superintendent/District Clerk. This confidential position supports the Superintendent, Board of Education, and district operations while helping ensure effective communication, organization, and service to our school community.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Board of Education meeting agendas, minutes, records, elections, legal notices, and governance processes
- Provide confidential administrative support to the Superintendent, including calendar management, correspondence, reports, and special projects
- Maintain district records and support compliance with FOIL, records retention, and other regulatory requirements
- Assist with district communications, website updates, and community notifications
- Support personnel administration, employment records, onboarding, and related office operations
- Complete other projects as assigned by the Superintendent
Qualifications
- Associate's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in executive support, office administration, education, or public service preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, technology, and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities
- Notary Public

- Full-time, 12-month position
