Must possess physical condition commensurate with the duties of the position and must meet requirements as set forth by NYS Commissioner of Education.   • ANTICIPATED VACANCIES FOR SUMMER PROGRAM 2026

    Staff Orientation - July 6th

    Family Night - July 9th

    with Youth - July 7 to July 31

    Group Counselors(5): Stipend of $2,600. Must be at least 18 years of age. Mon-Fri 8am-3pm. Responsible for a group of 12-15 multi-age children daily from 8-3. Must get in water at Glimmerglass and must attend field trips.

    Curriculum Leaders(5): Stipend of $2,600. Must be at least 18 years of age. Mon-Fri 8am-Noon. Assigned a subject requiring daily lessons. One lesson per day repeated six times. Must supervise lunch.

    Youth Assistants(2): Rate of $16.00 per hour. Must be at least 14 years with working papers. Assist in various capacities in the AM and help supervise and interact with children in the afternoon activities.

    Swim Program Supervisor: Stipend of $1,000. Certification required. Must organize swim testing and supervise adherence to safety protocols at Glimmerglass State Park. In charge of the program trip to Enchanted Forest/Water Safari.

    Summer Program Nurse: Stipend of $3,900. Must be certified and work 8am - 3pm.

    Substitute Nurse: $30/hour.
