Student Reps Appointed to our Board of Education

Did you know that Richfield Central School District has strong student voice on our school board?

At its September meeting, the Board of Education approved four ex-officio student board members. Seniors Dylan Amaro and Natalie Dumond and Sophomores Aubrey Beach and Jason Marriott now represent the student body. Senior Dylan Burditt is an ex officio member of our BOCES board.

Ex officio student members play an integral role in the governance process, connecting the needs of our “why”, our students, to our governance team as the BOE leads the overall direction of the district, focused on academic achievement, finance and policy.

Wednesday the student team traveled to BOCES to join other regional student reps in a statewide training.
