On Saturday, October 5th seven FFA members traveled to Cornell University to attend the COLT (Chapter Officer Leadership Training) leadership workshop. Individual workshops were geared towards our local chapter and personal leadership topics. The NYS Officers introduced a new state wide chapter challenge that we are planning on embracing. They also toured the Veterinary Research Dairy barns and of course we HAD to stop at the world famous Cornell Dairy Bar and pick up some ice cream for the ride home.
Last Tuesday, October 1st 5 FFA members traveled to Cazenovia HS to attend the State Officer tour and workshops. After brushing up on some leadership skills members played some basketball, volleyball and cornhole while meeting old friends and meeting new ones.
