For the second year, a group of students representing Students Adopting Seniors (SAS) from RSCS recently visited the Richfield Springs Community Center to add to the merriment of the SOUPer Seniors' Annual Christmas party. SOUPer Senior and kid at heart, Diane Butts, is also shown.
The group's name originated back in 2019 when a small group of senior citizens began meeting to enjoy some hearty soup, hence the name SOUPer Seniors. The group has grown exponentially. They meet at The Center on Wednesdays at 11:30 to enjoy a catered, nominal-fee hearty lunch, game playing and, most importantly, socialization!
