The Otsego County Conservation Association is sponsoring campership opportunities to children ages 11-17 at a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation camp this summer. Attendees get to experience five days of fun and adventure, where they can participate in a variety of environmental education and outdoor recreation programs. Camperships will be chosen via a lottery-style drawing. To be eligible, students must register (with parental/guardian permission) on our website by Wednesday, March 21.

Spring Sports are right around the corner! Varsity Baseball, Softball, Track, and Modified Track start on Monday, March 11. Modified Baseball/Softball start on April 8. If your student is playing one of these sports, please register using Family ID as soon as possible. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: It is with great pleasure that we announce the Richfield Springs Central School’s Valedictorian, Laken Dyn and Salutatorian, Justin Wolfe. Laken is the daughter of Amy Hawkes and John Dyn. Justin is the son of Monica and Michael Wolfe.
Laken Dyn of Richfield Springs earned an overall high school GPA of 101.06. Laken is involved in 4H, FFA, SADD, Student Council, Ski Club, Yearbook, Soccer, Basketball, the Morning Announcements, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is looking to pursue degrees in Animal Science and Public Policy in the hopes of becoming a lobbyist. She has applied and been accepted to multiple colleges and universities and is still considering her choice of schools.
Justin Wolfe of Richfield Springs earned an overall high school GPA of 98.61. Justin is involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, SADD, 4H, FFA, Cross Country, Basketball, Baseball, and the Morning Announcements. He is looking to study Agriculture Business and Education. He has also applied and been accepted to multiple colleges and universities and is still considering his choice of schools.
We congratulate both students on their outstanding accomplishments and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them!
